I Have Friday on My Mind
Posted on November 11th, 2009, by admin in UncategorizedThis Friday is the 13th but a lot of good things are happening.
Central Bottle will open at 196 Mass. Ave., between Toscanini’s and
MIT. In fact close to the reactor which absolutely poses no threat to
anyone, whatever you think of the steam leaking out of one side.
Central Bottle has a great website,

This is all about the romance of an idea for a food business. The
concept was born on a vaporetto in the Venetian lagoon, for heaven’s
sake. No one ever puts together a website about the mundane
annoyances and pitfalls of achieving that romantic idea.
At 4PM, on Friday at 1737 Cambridge St. in Harvard’s Tsai Auditorium
there will be a discussion of Japanese anime. Ian Gondry will speak
along with Professor Susan Napier of Tufts. Gondry is one of
Academia’s cool kids and owns the best eye glasses in town. His
glasses are as fabulous as Lina Wertmuller’s ever were. Do not go to
Boston University’s Tsai Auditorium. You will be disappointed.
Please report any other Tsai Auditoriums in the Boston area.
“The Soul of Anime: Collaborative Creativity and Japan’s Media Success Story”
At 7PM, at the Boston University branch of Espresso Royale Cafe, now
ERC, there will be an espresso jam. The handsome Barismo.com website
provides all information. “ERC” suggests a cartoon panel in Johnny
Hart’s BC, one that features the anteater. Zlot!

At 899 Main Street we will try to have B3, C4, Chocolate Sluggo,
Chocolate Lemon, Coffee Ice Cream Sandwich, Mango Sorbet, Khulfee,
Burnt Caramel, Grape Nut, Ginger Snap Molasses, Green Tea. Please
send in requests.

the professor mentioned is Ian Condry, not Gondry. I had him for class last semester.
