Pu’er tea and coffee
Pu’er is a famous tea from a place in Yunnan. For a few years the name of the town was Simao but commerce trumps politics and the old name is back in use. But according to The Economist the wonderful tea crops are in danger because farmers can make substantially more money growing coffee. A family can harvest $10,000 worth of coffee from a hectare, triple the amount for tea.
