Take the Red Line to Central Square. Head down Mass Ave. through Central with the river on your right. Main St. forks to the left from Mass. Ave and we’re on the left.

Driving from the southern suburbs
Take the Mass. Pike eastbound to exit 18 for Cambridge. Drive over the bridge and continue straight on River St. for three-quarters of a mile. Take a right on Mass Ave, go through Central Square, and start looking for a parking space. Main St. forks to the left from Mass. Ave at the MIT end of the square, and we’re on the left.

Driving from the northern suburbs
Take Route 2 eastbound to Alewife. Bear right at the end of the highway to stay on 2 E. You’ll go through several lights and over the Fresh Pond bridge (which, incidentally, has no water underneath it). At the first rotary take the second exit and get in the left lane. At the second rotary also take the second exit. This puts you on Concord Ave. Continue straight for 1.5 miles. Make a slight left when you see Harvard Square; this will take you through some curves and under a bridge. Bear right at the fork and continue straight on Broadway for one mile. Take a right on Columbia and look for a parking space. Main St. is a quarter mile ahead of you, and we’re around the corner on the left.
